Aramco and Pasqal

Aramco and Pasqal (Nov 24, 2025): Saudi Aramco and French startup Pasqal announced deployment of the Middle East’s first industrial quantum computer. The neutral-atom system (200 qubits) was installed at Aramco’s Dhahran data center to accelerate quantum R&D in energy, materials and manufacturing. Aramco’s EVP Ahmad Al-Khowaiter said this “pioneers next-generation quantum capabilities” for the Kingdom. Pasqal CEO Loïc Henriet called it a “historic milestone” as Pasqal expands its photonic quantum technology globally. The project also includes training programs to develop Saudi talent in quantum science.
